Guest guest
Andy- I totally understand how you must feel defeated right now, but your future does not have to be this bleak. If you feel this bad and cannot work, you should definitely file for disability benefits. I did this recently, and I am only 39. It was an easy process for me, but I know that is not always the case. Since I worked for 15 years prior to CMT and earned a good paycheck, my disability payments are about $3K/mo. This includes dependent benefits for my children (2). I realize you can't live a lavish lifestyle on this amount of money, but life is still worth living, despite the CMT. There are also pharmaceutical companies that will help certain individuals with limited income in getting their meds for little or no money. I think I might have that info somewhere in my email files, so let me look for that. Try to focus on what you do have....all the blessings God has given you...a child, a good job, life. I know it's hard, but you can make it. Amy Hodge
