Does standing for a prolonged amount of time make CMT worse?

On the weekends when I am volunteering I often stand for 2 hours straight, I'm

wondering if this is making my CMT worse. It is painful but I'm so used to the

pain that I just deal with it. My main concern is whether or not standing for

hours has a negative effect. What about doing a lot of walking - is it helpful

or harmful?

Anyone know?
