Guest guest
, I'm sorry if you feel insulted with what I said about Obama. I am not putting him down because he got sworn into office using the Koran. America is all about freedom of religion. That is why our Founding Fathers came over here in the first place - to escape dictatorship. Please don't misread what I am saying... If Obama is Muslim, there is no need to lie about it. He states he is a Christian, but abortion goes against everything in the Bible. His actions are very questionable. I am not for McCain either. I don't trust either one of them. The GREAT thing about America is that we all have a voice in this. Yes, we must respect eachother's sayso too, which I do. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. > > > > > > > > What i've learned through my son's vaccine induced illnes is > that > > > > it's not a president or a group of congressmen that run this > > > country > > > > and it never will be, it's big buisness and the Bilbergers. > > > Americans > > > > have been deceived into believing in a system that is ate up > with > > > > corruption and greed. Guest guest
Good question Charlie. And it looks like you've insighted quite an interesting debate.LOL!! My thoughts on politics have changed quite a bit since CJ's regression into autism. Most of the time now I just try to educate every candidate and politician no matter what their label. Keep in mind that my thoughts are directed from having been a lifetime lefty though....McCain really stood up on the mercury issue. Which I applaud! However in terms of " entirety " I don't think he will support all that is needed for our kids. We have needs that will be very much on a social basis, like where are some of the adults who are not able to be recovered go??? There is no place or a plan, and that will need monies I do not believe McCain will be able to support for us as his voting base will not allow it. I met with Kennedy's office the day after the rally. Considering his health status, his office was more than generous with their time. Bobbie Manning, another father and I received 2 full hours!! Pretty much unheard of... But I would like to mention that they were clear in telling me any legislation we try to get through in terms of mercury will be killed or never make it out of committee while Bush is still in office. However they told me they would be much more willing to fight and truely get " into " the mercury conversation with Obama as president. They are much more confident of getting the issue tackled with Obama than McCain, as well as other things we were discussing like the lack of adult placement and medical needs of our kids... Just passing on their thoughts and my opinions are somewhat in that direction. However we do still need to educate them all. I'm just pleased we have these two options over many of the other choices that this primary season started out with....-

Guest guest
Bobbie most certainly does kick ass. We are extremely lucky to have her in this fight. She attended two of my meetings with staff of Speaker Pelosi and Boxer. I was so grateful to have her there! A couple of my meetings got switched around on Thursday and Gilmore was able to attend the Boxer meeting also. I am so thankful for their contributions! You have no idea how much of a swing on political pendelum this is for me. I use to be one of those middle age fat white ex-military Republicans. Okay, so I'm still middle age, and fat, and white, and ex- military, and still a Republican but I'm marking my ballot for Obama. He's going to win this election by a very wide margin and our community needs to court him. Charlie

I am for Obama. I'm an older white parent in my 40's with a 10 yr old. Too many people are over- reacting to his heritage. You have to read his views & watch the debates. He was amazing in the primary debates. He's a smart man. I am so glad Hillary didn't make it. I doubt she would have changeed her mind to do anything for the autism community. She supported increasing vaccines in the 90's & look at the NY bill... Did she try to stop it? Ignore intentional smearing some radio hosts start. McCain would find it difficult not supporting big business. Peace Kathy
Guest guest
I want to make clear I'm referring to his heritage too many are worrried about with another country's religion. Not racial issue. I'm not that kind of person. I think he's a Christian. Kathy -- In EOHarm , " fighting4him " > I didn't plan to join in, but here goes. I am for Obama. Guest guest
LOL! I thought you were the element he wasn't " getting " . If I had to hear one more break down of race, sex, age percentages I could have thrown up... We have to change the current race between McCain/Obama into talking about the issues for once. Autism is an epidemic that both have to weigh in on. Which means our next full court information press needs to be directed towards the " PRESS " !! I agree, we need to court Obama strongly. But, I would hesitate to say McCain is out of it though. In my opinion we need to court them all including those Independant, Green Party, Libertarian, etc. Not that they have even a remote chance of winning but that they might have a tiny forum in which they will be included in some debates and they have nothing to loose if they bring up this issue. Especially the Green party. Not sure if they've chosen yet. In short, we have a lot of work to do... - > >Date: 2008/06/16 Mon PM 09:50:28 EDT >To: EOHarm >Subject: Re: Who would you vote for President if the () > > >> >> Good question Charlie.
