Guest guest
I washed my hair using just baking soda and rinsed it out. I love the feel and look of it. It's clean, feels and looks clean, feels really good. NOW I no longer have to buy the expensive fragrance free shampoos! Wish I had known this a long time ago. I can't see any reason for using vinegar. Why would anyone want to put vinegar on top of it? Consider washing with just baking soda. What I did was use a cup sized plastic container, put about 1/2 c of dry baking soda iit it, and added just enough water to make a sort of dry paste. My short hair was completely wet. I took fingers full of the paste and, standing away from the shower spray, plopped some onto various sections of my head, and scrubbed, probably more than I do with shampoo. Rinsed, and done! My hair is short-less than 5'6 inches long. Ella
Guest guest
One person said baking soda is very alkaline. Some people can't tolerate using it on their body. The vinegar rinse restores the acid/alkaline balance of your hair. She's been using bar soap with a diluted vinegar rinse for several months and it seems OK for her. Anyway, I guess there is a reason for the vinegar. So maybe I'll be sure to rinse the baking soda out well, then see how a vinegar rinse works for me next time. > > I washed my hair using just baking soda and rinsed it out.
