We have been giving our son, that has a severe bowel disorder and usually can't poop with out dulca lax and stool softeners a product from wall mart called Alvera juice. It after 1 month started him pooping with out dulca lax " a warning about dulca lax " never give 2 at once it caused our son to have 2 very bad seizures we did not notice it till the second time giving him 2 then it was like a light bulb moment we then decided to look on the Internet and there it was, if you over dose dulca lax it can cause seizures. He is still on stool softeners every day but they seem to be harmless. But we were able to dump the dulca lax that could be possibly deadly to our children. I wonder if the autistic children that seem to get seizures later on maybe possibly dulca lax over doses just a thought.

Mr. I am so sorry the child is going threw this.

There are so many natural (non stimulant) items

to help the child go and relax the muscles too.

Liquid Calcium from Natures Sunshine is just 1.

Pear, Apple, prune juice and at a Health food store

talk w/a rep. Dulca Lax will make the stomach,

rectum and muscles all strain and more.

Please other parents & prof. what do you recommend?

Probiotics and Castor Oil/Fish Oil and Colon Cleanses every other month or so.
