Welcome to the group. The only docs I am aware of are in the ton area.

Thanks, Gretchen.  I know of the DRs in ton, but it is 2 hours away and

my arms/hands hurt after a round trip of 4 hours - I was hoping to find Neuro

with CMT reputation closer to home.  My brother lives in ton and he and

his two sons go to Neuros at  MUSC for care.  I guess I'll have to break down

and make the appointment.  Maybe they can refer me to someone closer to home

after all the preliminaries are done.

Why don't you just call the doctors in ton and see if they can refer you

to a closer doctor near home now....before the preliminaries? That would make

life much easier.

I have given that idea some thought and will try that. I was hoping that

someone who has CMT could recommend a Neuro in the area, though, or even tell me

who to avoid!
