Guest guest
Hi Mark, OK here's my thoughts: Drop AARP and look into picking up Medco. (You are eligible because you're getting Medicare) Medco was the first to start in California about 8 years ago, and proved to be good for Medicare enrollees and now can people with Medicare can choose Medco for prescription needs through Part D. https://host1.medcohealth.com/consumer/site/home or call them at 1 - 800-758-4531, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Here's another link for info http://www.medcomedicare.com/medco/consumer/medicare/home.jsp?partner=pdp & access\ Link=memberexitmedcopdp For immediate needs, tell you doctor what's going on and he/she may be able to give samples for the immediate present, also some of the drug companies offer " Patient Assistance Programs " . http://www.rxassist.org/ Also look into http://www.freemedicinefoundation.com/ and http://www.freemedicinerevolution.com/index.php and http://www.needymeds.org/ (in Gloucester, Mass) and one more https://www.pparx.org/ I just scanned our message archives for " free medications " and up comes 129 messages, so you might want to scroll through them as I think somewhere, someone had a need for free meds.
