Guest guest
Been pondering for some time now who is the best presidential candidate for our kids. I love that McCain was the first to speak out about the Vaccine- Autism link. I also give some weight to the fact Senator Joe Lieberman, who on the Imus Show stated he would be an advocate for our kids, strongly endorses McCain. On the other hand, I have doubt whether " maverick " McCain could clean house at the CDC and do the right thing because of the influence Pharma has over the GOP. I love that Barack Obama stated he is " suspicious " regarding the vaccine-autism link but his stand doesn't seem to be as strong as McCain's. I'm also fond of his " Time for a Change " message and that with young girls of his own he probably experienced first hand doubts whether or not to vaccinate. I do have concerns though whether or not he has not only the political muscle but also the balls needed to take on the CDC bureaucracy, APA, big pharma, etc. Can we tolerate another 4 years of a laissez faire approach when it comes to vaccine policy? As of now, I truly don't know who I'm voting for (being that I live in Palm Beach County it probably won't matter anyway - lol). I'd like to hear from others on who they're planning on voting for and why. Charlie
