Autism Insurance Bill From the Patroit-News Pennlive.com http://tinyurl.com/447usp The state House on Tuesday approved a Senate-amended plan that would require insurance companies to cover autism treatments for those under 21. The proposal was sponsored by House Speaker Dennis O'Brien, R-Philadelphia. O'Brien's plan would require that insurance companies pay up to $36,000 for autism treatment. The plan will move on to the Senate where it needs a simple up or down vote to concur with the House version and be sent to the governor.
