That's just the way things are here in the States, where the focus is

on greed and capitalism.. " I don't care if you get yours, as long as

I get mine " type of mentalitty. It's even worse here in the southern

USA where much discrimination goes on even today. I was talking with

a couple, who are neighbors of mine, downstairs. I thought they were

going to use the " n " word, when referring to dark skinned people.

Then they said, " Oh, the politically correct term must be 'African

American' " . No wonder why I find it such a difficult time living in

the South. It's as if people still think it's the Civil War and such

from the mid 1860's. That's the general mentality of the people

here. Definitely, I cannot foresee myself living in this part of the

USA once I leave Chattanooga for good.

And people want to know why I find myself having a difficult time

developing new friendships in the South.
