Guest guest
I have MCS and going through mold detox in SC I definitely noticed a " chemical " smell coming from our bodies. When we had the ionic foot baths the smell was really strong, towards the end of the time there the smell definitely dissipated. Be interesting to see what it would be now, a year later. Guest guest
We also have bad smells coming from bodies. We also notice when we have a soak in epson salts and baking soda the smell lessens for a couple of days then returns. The baths are detox, so belive we remove some and build up again. Guest guest
I had an interesting experience with soaking in baking soda which I do once a week about. I go to an alternative doctor who gives ionic foot baths for certain things. He gave me one and all this junk came floating out into the water. It looked awful and water was thick with it. I figured some sort of trick, not from doctor but perhaps manufacturer of foot bath. However my foot felt better, foot I'm having trouble with, it seemed to help the skin, so I had another one on a different day. Only difference was earlier in the day I had had my long baking soda soak and water from ionic foot bath at doctors came out almost clear. It had very slight yellowish tinge only. When nurse came in to get water and give me a towel, she said " wow, I've never seen water come out that way before! It's usually full of stuff, brownish stuff actually. " I learned something about the baking soda soaks and also the ionic foot bath was really pulling that stuff out of my foot. The baking soda bath really does pull alot out of foot, either dirt of detox or something that I want out, that makes my skin and foot feel better and stuff coming from ionic foot bath was really coming out of my foot. I soak until I prune, if I have the time. > > We also have bad smells coming from bodies. Guest guest
Yes, but doctor charges 110.00 for the soak, so the baking soda is much better, unless you can buy one cheaply. It did get out a little more than the baking soda. Something flaky looking, almost like metalic little flakes and water had slightly yellowish tinge. I wondered if the metalic flakes were some kind of metals/minerals. Not sure. Doctor charges 110 for all his treatments. Can't go to him without a 110 or more. I tried it due to considerable trouble with my foot which is not solved yet. The ionic foot bath has water in it with some salt and ionic machine which I believe emits a slight electric current, very slight. > > I had an interesting experience with soaking in baking soda which I do once a week about. Guest guest
Wow 110, guess i will have to stick to baking soda. I also do hyrogen peroxide, epson salt, sea slat, and I want to do dead sea mud, have you tried any of these?? Guest guest
You don't put them all in tub at once do you? Baking soda can be combined with sea salt and epson salts. I use those together. Water needs to be very alkaline, like you are soaking in sea water. Very good for your skin. If you could sun a bit outdoors even better if it's summer. Vinegar in bath okay but not with baking soda or salt, or they knock each other out, as you want the acidity of the vinegar to work for you. How much hydrogen peroxide do you put in bath and does it help? > > Wow 110, guess i will have to stick to baking soda. Guest guest
Barb, I got the instructions for baths online, hydrogen peroxide is supposed to oxygenate your body so disease does not grow, what I understand . I got all bath detox recipies on line. No money so had to find cheap alternatives to stay alive. 35% hydrogen perroxide food grade. Hard to find at stores because people have used it wrong, burned them selves and now they do not want to carry. Can be found online. I had been using store bought, did not have a reaction to stabalizer but as soon as I can will get the other. http://www.garynull.com/Documents/Arthritis/Hydrogen_Peroxide_Therapy.htm http://tuberose.com/Hydrogen_Peroxide.html http://www.cancertutor.com/Cancer/HydrogenPeroxide.html My hands had severe inflamation, so painful they would not let me sleep. My hands are better, no longer a problem to sleep. http://www.ourlittleplace.com/detox.html God Bless !! dragonflymcs Mayleen _______________________________
Guest guest
Making a paste of Ivory Soap and baking soda is very helpful and great if you tend to have any acne breakouts. I found it really helpful with those stubborn " yeasty " rashes which I would develop on my neck post-aspergillus fumigatus exposure. The skin is your largest organ and if a smell is coming out of your body, it is a good thing. Be patient and grateful that it is coming out of your body. I found that epsom salts for some reason made me retain fluid but not so with baking soda. Baking soda is a almost like an dermal ex-foliant and so cheap - usually the store brand is 50 cents a box. I leave a box in the bathroom in a plastic container so it does not get waterlogged and the kids are finding it helps with acne as well. I have read where some of the stars use it as a daily beauty routine. > > > > Wow 110, guess i will have to stick to baking soda.
