Guest guest
There are a lot of NT people who are just as, if not more, self absorbed and lack social graces. Just my two cents. e In my HUMBLE opinion, I would TOTALLY agree!! Just me.
Guest guest
Add me to this TOTALLY agree list. It is probably easy for each of us to blame aspergers for someone's bad behavior, when in reality NT people can also have these behaviors. We may prefer to blame Aspergers instead of realizing that the person doesn't care about us. In this instance, Elaine has a husband that is so self-absorbed that he cannot recognize her broken wrist. I'd want to smack him on the head every time he forgets. Just kidding, but something, like a verbal smack, will help him to 'remember'. I think 's post about the Pentagon hacker got me going. Is it just me, or is there a tendency to blame all bad behaviors on Aspergers? I feel we would better serve people if we just told them to hold the person responsible for what they do wrong, instead of giving them a free pass because of Aspergers. I'm not talking about social mistakes or communication problems. I'm talking about bad, unacceptable behavior that people of all types do.
