WEIGHT LOSS IN PARKINSON'S DISEASE

While obesity reaches epidemic proportions in the United States,

neurologists are concerned that individuals with Parkinson's disease

(PD) may be losing too much weight. Two studies published last year

confirm an association between PD and progressive weight

loss and outline the likely reasons for this effect.
