Guest guest
Sometime ago I posted about reactions to paint. That was probably March or April. I used your suggestions, and got no relief. I slept on the couch in the living room, and had fewer symptoms throughout the night and in the morning. To make a long story short, I got rid of my mattress first, then the coverings on the box springs. I have a wire bottomed futon frame now in my bedroom, and am using old blankets and sheets to lay on. I also removed 2 pieces of old furniture, which oddly enough, made a difference. Both are wood. One is over 30 yrs old, the other over 15. I can sleep in there now with minimal symptoms. From that, I am guessing that moving the mattress and springs, both over 12 yo jiggled the chemicals around and turned some loose, as it were, and my reactions were to them. Remember, my symptoms started when I put my head on my pillow. I later found a website that lists many of the chemicals in mattress materials. It's a wonder we're not all dead...
