Waiting to hear results from genetic counselor - suspect my six month

old grandson has MDS

makes you suspect that he has MDS? Where are you from? What are your names?

My name is Sherry my grandson is Ozzie. He was born premature and spent 2 weeks

in NICU. He has several 'markers' :

mild hearing loss in left ear

large head

wide spaced eyes

fold on eyelids

palmers crease in one hand

bicuspid aortic valve

bilateral club feet

gap between big toe and second toe

My daughter had a complicated pregnancy-- a two vessel umbilical cord-

bicornuate uterus etc. She was being cared for by maternal fetal medicine- her

water broke at 36 weeks (possibly 34 weeks) and she needed an emergency c

section.

Ozzie is doing great. He is the love of our lives. Beautiful, smart, sweet and

seems to be hitting developmental milestones without too much delay. He was

referred to the genetics dept at UM -- had his blood drawn Dec. 1 and we are

waiting for a reply. I may be too early to join this group-- if so then I will

unsubscribe with gratitude for sharing your resources.
