Thanks Carl. You are right. If the source is really what is before Congress,

it will be a '.gov' site, as Sharon has posted. I googled the HR 3200 bill and

many sites look like legitamit sites to get 'the facts' but actually aren't.

This site called 'opencongress', looks like it is place to see what Congress is

doing but it is a .org and has no connection to Congress. Also I noted AARP in

there with their summary but in fact AARP has their own insurance program

program so you can read what they have to say, but they have a 'dog in the

fight' so to speak. There are lots of people who have a 'dog in this fight' and

will want to sway you one way or the other, so beware so you aren't fooled by

either side.

Big Pharma also has several front groups that will 'analyze' the bill for you,

as does lobby groups headed up by Dick Army, former law maker now lobbyist for

pharma or who ever will write the check.

The bill is long - read it anyway! If need be, read a few pages at a time.

Gov't isn't going to make your end of life decisions for you BUT will pay for

you to have that conversation with your dr so YOU don't have to pay.

My husband is on Medicare/SocSec. We have auto deposit for his check - and an

auto deduction for his supplement to Medicare. This is what they mean by access

to your bank account. You can always set up a separate chk account just for this

stuff & keep your big bucks somewhere else!

We had BC/BS for him when he had kidney cancer (from mold - we have proof).

They wanted to tell the doc what kind of surgery he should be doing for my

husband's cancer. Doc wanted to save as much of the kidney as possible. This

type of surgery would take 3 hrs longer than just cutting the whole organ out.

It took 7 weeks to get the ins co to approve what the dr thought was best. Let's

see - isn't that rationing or telling the doc what he can or can't do? And

waiting 7 weeks for the surgery? Who says we don't have waiting for care here!

He's now on Medicare - a gov't run 'socialized' program. It's WONDERFUL! No

fighting with ins companies, everything is paid, no providers calling me to help

them get the ins co to pay up - all for $160 per month! I still have the BC/BS.

My premium is now $940 per month. My husband & I are both on IVIG for CIDP from

the mold. His is paid thru the beginning of Aug. I'm fighting with the ins co to

get payment for treatment last March.

Carl is right - Read if for yourself & do your own thinking.
