Will Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatments kill the toxins?

Can someone tell me if doing the Hyperbaric Oxygen treatments for an hour in a

soft chamber will help me with the mold toxins?

If anyone can give me advise about doing them please do. This is hard with me

not working now and us trying to pay for all my medical. I only want to do them

if they are going to really make a difference. How many treatments usually does

one have to do to notice a difference?

Thanks so much

Ann

Anne, I believe you said the hard chambers bothered you? If there are chemicals

in there, you can ask them to wipe it down for you, or do it yourself. If it is

the high pressure that bothers you, you can ask them to put you to less depth.

Find out what pressure levels you can get in soft chambers. There is a maximum

level they can safely reach, then ask them at hard chambers to give you some

treatments at that level, to see how you feel. The hyperbaric center I went to

offered to do that for me. I haven't done it yet, as the higher pressure does

me good and I am not thinking of buying a soft chamber but they told me before I

did, they would give me some low pressure treatments for me to try. I took them

for migraine treatment, which they are very helpful for, but don't know for

toxic treatment but bet they would but how many you would need, dont' know. If

you use soft chamber it is at lower level, so you would need more of them. How

many you would need, I don't know. I've not seen any data on it. For many

treatments, seems to make more sense to buy a unit, used if you can buy one, and

sell it when you are done, because you don't know ahead of time, how many

treatments it will take and can be very expensive over time. That's the problem

with them, you don't know how many treatments you need, so no way to tell ahead

of time if you can afford the treatment. For migraines, one treatment works.

I did 40 one hour sessions (twice a day) and spent alot of money and I would not

do it again. I met alot of people there and it seems everyone if different in

how it helps. I also have met people that have been doing it daily for over two

years, not sure that is a great idea. I honestly would try sauna first, over

hyperbaric chamber. D

Heavenly Heat is one of the best companies. The owner makes them for Dr. Rea's

mcs clinic in Texas and I've heard he can make them to order based on your

needs. I think there is another brand called Saunaray in Canada that makes a

very good sauna as well. The key to look for is when the materials are made in

the US. That there are no toxic glues used. That the wood hasn't been sprayed

with pesticides. IMHO, I think far infrared saunas are better than the dry heat.

You can have lower temps and more toxins can be pulled out.

Sam

The sauna I used was a Heavenly Heat sauna with added Infrared

heaters. www.heavenlyheatsau na.com Sauna was absolutely magical for me after

my mold exposure. D

I go to a clinic and for soft side 1 hour chamber it is $60. We are going broke,

but it has to be done. Our credit cards are going to be maxed and I don't know

what we will do then.

I have trouble sweating the pat two years. I usually have tremendous ithcing and

stinging instead now. When I've done the fir sauna at a local clinic, I sweat

alot. I think the far infra red is verty good at removing toxins. I don't own a

Heavenly Heat sauna or any sauna at present due to finances. Just heard good

feedback about that company and owner--obviously, I have no financial interest

in these products, lol.. I think there might be some on the list who like Diane

know the product and could address the up close and personal aspect of that

particular sauna as well. There are other companies as well you can check out

that claim to be non-toxic. Just be careful about the quality and non-toxic

nature of the products and do find out if the parts, wood, etc are from China.

Most of those are not good at all.

Heavenly Heat: I don't sweat easily. Would it work for me?

Barb: No I dont own a sauna,I used the one at Dr. Reas and felt that it really

helped alot. If you are what he calls a " non-sweater " that has alot to do with

the way you are feeling. Sweating is absolutely necessary to de-tox. It took me

a couple of weeks to sweat due to my level of toxicity and then I had no

problem. I will sweat now just sitting in the sun outside. Like Sam said, HH

saunas are made for people with MCS, that is why Dr. Rea has them. No glues,

just stainless steel screws, poplar wood and glass. I am going to purchase one

as soon as I find permanent housing. D

I don't sweat easily either and it took 2 + wks before I started to sweat

and that was 3hrs a day Mon-Thur each week. One thing I will say about the

sauna is that it definitely works but you need supervision, we were told to

never go in if we were alone in the house, detoxing can be dangerous, we

should all keep that in mind, we are basically forcing our bodies to live

through the reinfecting of the toxins as they are released from the lipids

they are flowing freely and unless you are drawing them out with other

minerals/ supplements they will just be reabsorbed into your body. Dr

Lieberman actually advises against having home infrared saunas because of

the dangers associated with their use in detox. Going through detox is very

hard on your body and you most definitely get a lot sicker before you get

better, he uses the dry heat saunas as he says the high temperature is

needed to allow the lipids to release the toxins-not fun-but it works!!

Please every-one be careful when using saunas!! depending on your toxic load

they can be dangerous.
