Oh Gretchen! I think I love you! A woman after my own heart. That is exactly how

I shop. I don't care how much money I have, I can't justify paying big $$ for

the same thing I could have for a fraction -- and benefit someone who needs it

more to boot! We'll have to swap favorite store names in the So.Cal area.

My thing was always shoes with heels. Even long before I really realized

something was wrong, and decades before I was diagnosed I came to the sad

realization that I just can't wear those pretty high heeled shoes. I do like

pretty shoes though, and I have found lots over the years that meet my

requirements in both looks and comfort. And the looks are for me, btw. I feel

better when I look good. I also like the unique and flashy -- have been accused

of plugging in my clothes at night (I've toned down now that I'm older!)
