Guest guest
Sam, FYI, Dr. Zeim's office tells me they disassociated themselves from Mr. Donnay years ago and asked that her name be removed from his website. I would also suggest that Dr.Zeim is a medical doctor who can prescribe for patients and that her recommendations are based upon individual medical profiles for patients. Dr. Pall's recommendations should be referred to as part of individuals who are using his advice as part of a self-treatment protocol or for use in partnership with their physicians. The work of researchers can be invaluable when presented to doctors and their applicability be tailored to the specific needs. You want to avoid any inference that Dr. Pall is practicing medicine. With regard to the use of supplements in therapeutic doses to improve detox capacities (a sulfur based mechanism), it is very important to recognize that impairments of sulfation/methylation is not the same as deficiency. While some symptoms may subside upon supplementation, medical supervision is advisable where accessible to make sure the system isn't retaining harmful amounts of byproducts from faulty processing (e.g. homocysteine levels). This is indicative of inflammation and can cause many problems. We can't just look at theory but also have to assess the cascades of effects from our treatment methods. All have potential for side effects and those effects, themselves, are diagnostic in nature helping us to identify aspects of our illnesses. Just so I can understand this though; is Albert against the whole concept of Pall's protocol or is it the way he has represented his work on this chapter? It sounds like there is a history of issues that Albert has with Pall. I checked out his website which looks very interesting; but also noted that he founded it along with Dr. Grace Zeim, who I thought was a collaborator of Dr. Pall's.x
