Guest guest
Ok so I pulled the dishwasher out. I feel better already BUT behind the machine is a piece of sheetrock with smudgy black dots. Now my experience with mold is the creepy crawly kind that inches up from the bottom of the sheetrock. This stuff doesnt smell moldy only musty (which could be just because its been behind the dishwasher for 19 years. I've also put new mold tester kits down to see what they can pick up-the results will be definitive on Thursday or Friday. I should mention also that the usual hydrogen peroxide did nothing to remove the black dots-this puzzles me. I want to remove the sheetrock just in case and replace it with that stuff they put behind shower tiles-the water resistant kind (I forget the name). Experts out there! What should I do? Thanks! I am just going to pull out until the kitchen doesn't make me react. I'm just afraid it's behind a corner group of cabinets that will be impossible to get to. > >
