Guest guest
Missy, Here are 2 phone numbers, and instructions on how to get ALL the phone numbers Goldfrank, MD - 212-562-3346 J. Nadig MD - 212-245-4401 The first place to look, online, for any doctor's information, including their phone number, is the website of the American Medical Association (AMA). It is a huge data base, which includes both AMA members, and NON-members. Follow these steps: (1) Go to: http://www.ama-assn.org/ (2) At top of page, click on " Patients " (3) On new page, find " featured resources " , on right side of page. (4) If you don't see " Doctor Finder " , under " featured resources " , click on the arrow above " featured resources " , until you see " Doctor Finder " BELOW " featured resources " (5) Click on " Doctor Finder " (6) On new page, copy the numbers shown, into the blank field box, and click " submit " . (7) On new page, you will see two " thumbnails " . - Click the one that says: " Patients & Consumers - Search for a Physician " (8) On new page, click " Doctor Finder " (9) On new page click " accept " button, underneath the " terms " . (10) On new page, type in your doctor's name and city. Don't forget to select the " state " from the " drop-down " state list. (11) If you get a result name, or names, click on the one you are looking for. If you get a screen saying " no results " , click on " show me NON-members of the AMA. (12) The new page will tell you why you should use ONLY AMA members, Click on " show me NON-members of the AMA " . (13) Mazel Tov, you are probably NOW looking at the doctor who you wanted to find. Cick on his/her name, and, at very least, you will NOW see the doctor's phone number. (14) You DON " T have to repeat this insane process, for every doctor. Just click " Search Again " , and enter the name and address of each new doctor, one at a time. (15) If you STILL don't see any information, go to www.superpages.com which is the online telephone directory of Verizon, the New York phone company. Try them for the second doctor on the list, Dr. Hoffman, as he was NOT listed on the AMA website. I suggest that EVERYONE on Sickbuildings, print out, and save, this info, as we will ALL need to be doing doctor searches, forever. I also suggest that, when the receptionist answers the phone, you say: " I am looking for a doctor experienced in treating MOLD problems " . If the receptionist says " WHAT? " , just thank her, and call the NEXT doctor on the list. If SHE doesn't know what you are talking about, chances are, that the DOCTOR has no experience in this area, Good Luck and God Bless, Joe ............................................................... " Joe Salowitz " <josephsalowitz@...> Date: Monday, November 30, 2009, 9:59 AM Hi again JOe, Might you know how to get these folks' phone #s. The links all go to pay reports and I am googling them and not finding phone #s to make appointments. My other planned dr visit is now not going to happen bc he doesn't take insurance OR worker's comp. Sigh... Missy
