Just wondering what you think of us with CMT getting this vaccine. I volunteer at a hospital and think it will be pretty much mandatory for me. > Thanks, > Cheryl Yikes! I've been wondering about this vaccine and CMT complications. Hope to see informed posts regarding this topic as we head into flu season. I only took flu vaccine once, some years ago I haven't taken it since largely b/c I thought I didn't need it. But this year my CMT has roared and I don't know what to think/do about vaccines. I had mono in college and recall the doctor saying it was Guillian-Barre related.
Guest guest
Hi, I feel that if you have had a vaccine before, for example against seasonal influenza, than there is no elevated risk with the swineflu vaccine either. However, if you had a vaccine and had adverse reactions, there could be risk with the swine flu vaccine too. I don't feel they will let a vaccine out on the market without clinical tests. When the vaccine comes, it will be safe. Beata
