Guest guest
Thanks to those who gave me good reviews on shoemaker. One more question I have is.... I am also considering Dr. Lieberman in ton SC? Has anyone seen him? He is a little less expensive than shoemaker and closer to me. He also uses a different approach than shoemaker. Our money is limited due to the move and having to replace so many of our items and dry cleaning all of our clothes. So I need to find the best care for the money. shoemaker only takes blue cross blue shield and I have assurrant health care. and Lieberman doesn't take any type of insurance. How are people suppose to medical care when the doctors that specialize in this do not take insurance?
Guest guest
I'm putting in my 2 cents on this one. no.1 get out of the conaminated environment. no. 2 advoidence, advoidence, advoidence. no. 3 deep cleasing of sinus, and if you are haveing stomach and bowel problems, get some food intolerance and allergy testing done. only eat fresh foods, no canned,no corn, no cerals, grains. mainly green veggies and white meat. wait several months and after you gain some type of control over stomach problems, introduce something back in and see if it affects you, possably even a day later. if it does, forget about eating it for a long time. no. 4 dont asume that you or anybody else can say that what worked for them well work for you. no ecposure is the smie, no one is damaged to the same levels, some well recover by just getting out with a little time, some well not recover no matter what they try. and this is true and even our own need to realize that even though they were miserable and think they were the worst, theres always those that were damage in ways that aren't going to heal or go away. by toutting that one has the cure all, it's cutting out the ines that are severly damaged. some have varely escaped death and may end up dieing from it anyway. I really hate it when prople clain they have all the answers based on their exposure and their recovery. it just doesn't work that way. I am against movies being made based on one persons experience becaouse that pits us all in that bracket and thats just not true. the end............ > > There are a lot of people on this board who know what has worked for them > to get better. Guest guest
Jeanine, well said. Every one of us is unique and our experiences with water damage and mold are unique. The mixture of molds, toxins, bacteria, etc. are unique to each situation. There are many good options for treatment--some have had success with certain treatments or certain doctors. Others have had success with supplements, changes in diet, medication, oxygen therapy, alternative medicine, etc. It's great that we have the Sickbuildings Group so we can share our experiences and ideas. Some day, when the insurance industry and other stakeholders stop denying the truth about the health effects of toxic mold, it will be much easier to get the proper treatment. ________________________________ From: who <jeaninem660@...> Sent: Sunday, August 2, 2009 9:00:49 AM Subject: [] Re: shoemaker or Lieberman I'm putting in my 2 cents on this one. no.1 get out of the conaminated environment. no. 2 advoidence, advoidence, advoiden ce. no. 3 deep cleasing of sinus, and if you are haveing stomach and bowel problems, get some food intolerance and allergy testing done. only eat fresh foods, no canned,no corn, no cerals, grains. mainly green veggies and white meat. wait several months and after you gain some type of control over stomach problems, introduce something back in and see if it affects you, possably even a day later. if it does, forget about eating it for a long time. no.
