Guest guest
HI, I want to add something about pregnancy and breast feeding. It is very important for the mom (and dad) to have a highly nutritious diet prior to conception. You can learn more about this on the Weston A Price Foundation website; in traditional cultures, the moms and dads to be were given the most nutrient dense foods. Also, if you can, get your amalgam fillings removed well in advance of conception. My biological dentist told me that I detoxed half my heavy metals into my first born son via the womb and breast feeding, and I had a mouth full of amalgams, since removed but too late for my kid's health. MY FIRST BORN SON is the reason I am on this group, he is the sick one (and he has the dreaded genotype-does not detox) while my second son is very healthy even though he has had the same mold exposure ( & he has the multisusceptible gene X2). Maybe starting out with such a heavy metal load from the womb makes the difference. I did breast feed both kids, but my first born got formula (of course recommended by the pediatrician) while I was at work, after I got really sick of doing the breast pumping thing. I would never do formula again, besides the potential for toxins and contamination of these products, many contain soy which is traditionally eaten only fermented and in small quantities, not as a highly processed powdered milk product. Soy mimics estrogen, is that what our baby boys need from birth, we all know they are already getting more than enough estrogen mimicking contamination thru the pervasive plastics in the environment? And the high heat and high pressures used to make processed products like milk powder turn otherwise healthy ingredients into poisons. Again, you can read all about this on the Weston A Price Foundation website. There is also a recipe for homemade formula, not a powder, in Sally Fallon's cookbook Nourishing Traditions. Good luck & good health to all thinking of having children! When they are healthy, there is nothing better in the world, and even when they are sick they are still a blessing. Guest guest
I breatfeed, that was back in the 70's, I'm a big believer in breastfeeding over bottles, I hope it doesn't come to the point where breastfeeding is not recommended. > > > > environmental estrogens, mast cells, ige > > http://www.environmentalhealthnews.org/newscience/2007/2007-0401naritaetal.html > > >
Guest guest
your welcome, I think theres important info. on both sides of the fence here. I think allergy testing,IgE,IgG, ect. is important. > > Thank you so much for posting this article on environmental estrogens and allergy. It's interesting to see more support for the theory that environmental toxins contribute to rising allergy and asthma. >
