Guest guest
Does anyone on use AFOs for sport? I am probably having stronger AFOs made for my participation in triathlon. Any experiences people can share would be helpful. Many thanks from London, Donna
Guest guest
Yes Donna I do! Now my sport is walking for fun around a golf event or a long fast walk or cleaning the house. I have worn the AFOs for 1.5 yrs about 20% of the time (at first all the time) my energy level has gone up. I am wearing my shoes without AFOs to work now. I broke my first AFOs just doing the above activities so good luck finding a pair to hold up to a triathlon. I think I posted a study a year ago comparing and contrasting 4 different types of AFOs for a bike rider. Thanks Kim

Guest guest
I wear mine (Blue Rocker)nwhen I go to my gym. I wear them on top of my training pants, because they look sporty, and also signal to others that I have a problem and might not be a top-performer. It is easier to do the excercises with AFOs, including step-up airobics. I take them of for balance and calf-muscle training. But I can't run wihth or without AFOs, so for me it is kind of more static sports. Beata
