Fusion Not healing - electro stimulator

Seven+ months post surgery, my subtalar joint is not healed enough for me to

walk long even in a cast boot w/o pain.

My OS has put me back in a cast and is recommending an electro stimulator. HE

said to expect 3 months of this.

Has anyone had good or bad experience with these devices? ANyone have other

suggestions what might help encourage it to heal?

He said if this doesn't help, it's another surgery and it will be more difficult

than the first. Maybe I'll try Lourdes.
