Guest guest
Thanks, Joe. That was easy. I just texted my vote and got an instant text message back, so I know they received my vote. ________________________________ From: Joe Salowitz <josephsalowitz@...> < > Sent: Thu, November 12, 2009 12:23:54 PM Subject: [] Harry Reid Will Deliver Your Message Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid, is conducting a citizen's vote, on his website, for what we want covered by the Health Care Reform Bill. You can vote online, or by mobile phone/device. When he walks into the Senate, should a Republican, or two, drop dead (God Forbid), from the results, it would solve all of our problems. Joe ............. ......... ......... ......... ......... ......... ....... From Harry Reid: Last weekend health insurance reform took another big step forward when the House passed their bill on Saturday night. With each passing day, we're getting closer to finally fixing our tragically broken system. The bill we merged from the Finance and Health committee versions is being scored by the CBO this week, and hopefully next week we'll be able to begin debate and continue moving this monumental legislation forward. Our petition in support of a public option has been so successful (thank you 50,000+ signers!), I want to continue our conversation about health insurance reform. So today, we're launching an informal mobile survey that you can participate in via text message or online. To vote, simply take out your cell phone and choose an option below, or participate online by clicking here. We'll text you the results, and you'll be registered to receive mobile updates from my campaign in the future. What's the most important aspect of health insurance reform? TEXT A to 42779 for: Making sure people with preexisting conditions can get affordable insurance TEXT B to 42779 for: Prohibiting insurance companies from dropping people when they get sick TEXT C to 42779 for: Creating a public insurance option to lower costs by creating competition TEXT D to 42779 for: We should not reform health insurance, status quo is ok by me TEXT your answer (A,B,C or D) to 42779 (HARRY) to vote Link to mobile phone vote: http://www.harryrei d.com/content/ mobile
Guest guest
Dear Mr. Reid, I am writing to you in hope that I can convince you to support a nation wide medical system that mirrors, Japan, Germany, & Taiwan. No one in these countries gets denied coverage; no one goes broke with premiums; prices are set for Doctors & if they want to cry about it they can find a job at Burger King (take the greed factor out & bring healing back to a duty not a way to drive a Lexus); preventive medicine saves overall costs; allow people to go DIRECTLY to a specialist to save time & cost rather than have to be billed by a primary & bounced to 2-5 Doctors after that for certain illnesses (like a bad knee, Mycotoxicosis, etc.); take PROFIT out of the equation as Japan does as they & Taiwan spend 6-8% GDP as opposed to our 16%+ GDP (for less coverage, quality, longer wait times, etc.) & try to set up an incentive for Doctors to get a discount for COLLEGE if they agree to 10 years of servicing Medicaid & Medicare patients, etc. with a GOOD RATING from these patients via a survey. PLEASE investigate how other countries have made our system look like a pathetic 4th world, greed run joke.
