Hi , I haven't seen any of my last few emails posted. I can imagine it may seem easier to leave my comments off , however I do think my perspective is a la valid one as my serve to help us all in our understanding of how we think and speak to one another. thanks ummee

Yesterday and today (to about noon) I've seen here eight messages from

you. Did you send more??

Sometimes people will trim " bottoms " off emails. That's a common

practice to shorten long messages down to the bare minimum " question " .

I do it all the time; try to anyway. You'll see " [snip] " at

various places in many of my responses. That's just being honest -

indicating I've cut out, " snipped " a bit of the original message.

It's *never* done as an insult.

Always only for *brevity* - a *courtesy* to later readers who

shouldn't have to re-read over and over material they've already seen.

My own rule, shared I think by everyone here, is that *everyone's*

perspective is valid.

Of course nobody has to agree with it. But _that's OK_! I believe

it's from the DISagreements, the back-and-forth interplay of *different*

ideas, that new knowledge emerges and we all benefit.

Hi Islah,

I'm back at home after a day of work. Your posts are showing up on

the list, no problem there. Since you re-joined the list, have you

received no copies of your own emails to this list. If so, it's

because your account has been set so that you don't get a copy of

your own ASPIRES email. You can change that setting yourself if that

is the case.

However, I have been missing some Yahoo posts as well, lately, and

others have commented about apparent missing ASPIRES emails too. I

suspect maybe Yahoo is doing some upgrades or something? There is a

link at the bottom of each ASPIRES post that says " Messages " and if

you click on it it will take you to the our Yahoo discussion groups

archives where you should be able to find the rest of the posts,

including yours.
