Kilmer, a nationally prominent expert in physical medicine and rehabilitation at UC Health System, has died at age 52. He specialized in treating patients with slowly progressive neuromuscular diseases and was director of the electromyography laboratory and the adult prosthetics and orthotics clinics at UC Medical Center. " No single researcher in the country has published as extensively on issues of exercise and neuromuscular disease as Dr. Kilmer, " said Dr. Craig Mc, UC Health System interim chair of physical medicine and rehabilitation. " His work has influenced the care of patients worldwide.
