Guest guest
Does anybody have any suggestions for preventing or reducing fatigue due to activity? Next week, I am going to the Equine Affaire - tons of horse related shopping and exhibits at the fairgrounds - woohoo! However, it means lots of walking on cement and asphalt, with places to sit in between. Last year, I wore myself out; almost couldn't get into my friend's SUV because my legs and lower back were so tired and sore. This year I want to be smarter about this. I am going on a day when there will be smaller crowds, so there will be less standing around. Obviously, I'll wear my most supportive and comfortable shoes, take my trekking pole for balance and support, and I will make sure to take plenty of breaks. Would it benefit me to take Tylenol or Advil before the pain starts? Does drinking more water than normal do anything to help? Is there anything else I can do? Thanks!
