Bi-pap causing sinusitis

I have pain in my upper teeth, swollen eyes, and pain in my head. I also have

dry, itchy eyes. I have tried nasal sprays and antibiotics. They do help for a

short while and then the sinusitis returns. I have finally put together that

the mask I wear, and the airways being forced with air from my bi-cap, is the

cause. Does anyone have any suggestions how to take care of this problem so it

won't keep returning? I do have to keep using the bi-pap to help me breathe.

Thank you for your help!

Kay

I've had to give up wheat. When I have a sinusitus attack I usually do 2000mg

Echinacea, 2000 mg Goldenseal Root and 5000 mg Garlic 4 times a day for 5 days.

I take 1000 mg niacin and 1000 mg tumeric twice a day during allergy season and

usually that keeps the sinusitus attacks to a minimum in addition to my 2 table

spoons of lecithin and fish oil tablets and yogurt tofu and berries for

breakfast. No wheat or fried foods. If I follow that diet my breathing gets

normal and of course I start to cheat.

Do you have a humidifier for your bi-pap? If not try one.

Are the nasal sprays OTC? Only use them occasionally. They can have a bad

rebound effect making it worse.
