Guest guest
That brought to a mind a possible win/win solution. Have you evertried sunglasses for inside? There are lenses that have lighter tintsand even different colors as you mentioned different spectrums in yourpost. I have seen pink, yellow, green, blue and brown tinted lenses. Please let me know if this has any effect or if you have already triedthis.Have a happy and healthy holiday season.Karmyn I have not read all the post on this thread, but I do know that there are special lenses for people who are sensitive to light. I do not know if anyone has mentioned them, but here is what I know. They have something called Irlen lenses, I do not have them, but had a friend who used them, he seemed to liked them then. I do not have contact with him, so I do not know if still uses them or not. In any case they are great for what I heard. It helps with sensitivity, and over stimulation as well. Check this out: http://irlen.com/index.php?id=70 http://www.google.com/search?hl=en & ie=UTF-8 & sa=X & oi=spell & resnum=1 & ct=result & cd=1 & q=irlen+lenses+autism & spell=1 I think that a lot of kids in the spectrum can have lots of improvements in their over stimulation by using this lenses. I wish I had them when little, but did not even know about them. I just use light tinted sunglasses if possible, or just deal with it the best I can....... .
