Guest guest
I recently turned 39 and was gifted a pair of concert tickets to a show I really wanted to see bad. Im a huge music fan and this is one of my favorites.I saw them 1 year ago at the same place where I learned that the Venue has general admission only,no seats at all. Over the last year my CMT deciced to decline to the next level where standing for is difficult for me.sitting down on the floor means seeing nothing but the backs of people at the show.I am not ready to use a wheelchair cuz I can still walk and I also was not ready to use a cane though I know that will someday be a part of my life and oh ya my Pride was in the way. After a few days of wondering what to do I decided to go and get my first cane.but not real happy about it.After all I really wanted to see this show. A few minutes of using my new cane and I learned that it was not so bad,it was actually great.I felt stable when standing and I had something to lean on when walking, like our wallsurfing but in the open. I was inside the show maybe 2 minutes when my friend and I decided to find a closer spot to see better,we ended up very close off to one side next to the busy bar.We were there all of 3 minutes when the Bartenter who saw my cane tapped me on the shoulder and said in his loud voice " HEY DO YOU WANT THIS CHAIR! I had to have him repeat himself. He handed me a padded folding chair over the bar.I Thanked Him and wanted to put him in my will, lol.I was the only person in the entire place with a chair and had a great view of the show.Needless to say I had an ear to ear grin the whole time and had a great night every now and then looking at the bartender to see if he wanted his chair back,he did not.I repeatedly Thanked him when I handed it back Thank You God and Bartender Guy for warming my up to the Idea of using my cane.
