Guest guest
there are so many possable sorces of mold contamination, the best you can hope for is to find a place you can tolerate that doesn't keep you in a reactive state. you might find a place that you fell is tolerable to you than a few weeks later find out it's not, mold has it's active times and it's non-active times, carpet can hold alot of particles and when you vaccum it can stir up things you didn't know was there. if you have chemical sensitivity, theres even more to consider, people liveing under you, next to you, shared hallways, ect. whats around in the outside environment is important too. it is really hard. the heating and cooling system may often be a problem basements, crawspaces, roofs, windows, anywhere theres plumbing, sewer, ect. renting, no control over landlords that are bug spray happy, even living close to someone with those dang scented plug in's can be a hudge problem. if you find somewhere with a good roof being higher up off the ground may be better than ground level apt's, preferable above others bathroom overflows, ect. I had pretty good luck with a apt. witch was small but the heating and cooling sorce was a window unit so I had more control over keeping it clean,3 floors up,seperate entrance. I hope you find somewhere you can tolerate well.
