Can someone give me a website where it says it is bad and any info on this? We

are talking about the sauna ozone right?

Ann,

By " sauna ozone " I assume it is ozone generated in the sauna

while people are in it to increase the " benefit " of the sauna. If so, I

would strongly recommend against it. People should not breath

ozone any time at any concentration. Ozone is O3 which is a very

reactive oxidant and can permantly harm lungs. It is one of the

major pollutants outdoors. Why bring it indoors?

If ozone is used on odors in the sauna when people aren't in it, I'd

still be very cautious. The latest reseach shows that for ozone to

be effective it must be at very high levels. But at those high levels

the side effects (by-products) created are worse than the ozone

and worse than the original substances.

As for why would some people say it is good, it's because they

sell the products. And they are strong believers oblivious to facts.

Nothing will convince them otherwise!
