Guest guest
I have been doing a lot of research for my Dad that was recently diagnosed with CMT2 with a deletion in GDAP1. He was taken off the statins right away, but seems to be showing the syptoms of statin mytosis. When I looked up the syptoms, it fits my father very much. He was on statins for maybe seven years, and I think that with his CMT, he has some more problems. It's too bad that people are not screened before being prescribed lipitor, because it apparently is quite problematic for certain individuals. Anyway. There Q10 seems to be helpul, as well as a few other therapies I read about. I did read that in this condition, Q10 may not work if the person has a thyroid condition, which my Dad has. In fact, the thyroid may be part of his problem as well. Please let me know if you are suffering from possible Statin Mytosis, and what you have done. I eagerly await all responses, and appreciate any input. Thanks,
