It may not as bullshit as you think !!

he has only part of ther picture ,

i can explain thing , how I see them , Over the last 2 years

I have been bulding one the largest data base on autistic

childreen in the province of quebec .

it represent about 400000 childreen and 2500 autistic childreen

build onto to sub groups.

in the beginning of the work , I to assume that mercury was the cause

but Know I realise wthat that the mercury in the vaccine and

potentially high levels in the environment was the cause.

Now i can only come to one conclusion from review the data

mercury in ther vaccine did not generator of autism ,

What I am seing in the data is that mercury increase the severity

autism behavior ,when you take out the mercury out of the vaccine .

the number of severe cases drop to Zero(0)

But the mild form of autism , asperger , light form of autism

or non specified autism is still on the rise for these group

about 16% a year .

Now what generate autism ,well if you look at te childreen born

between 1984 to 1991 in quebec , mercury level w and vaccine coverage

for DTP where quite low.but MMR coverage was quite high .

what see in our data is a fairly large cluster of approx 450 cases

that represent childreen with autism , but its different from

the younger kids , its less severe , these kids can talk and verbalise

they have some intectual delays and autism tics .

But when you look at the kids that got 200 mg of mercury aged from

10 to 16 , these PDD kids have a very severe form of autism , no

verbal , heavy repetetive behavior .

david Kirby did not got the situation wrong , he simply does not

have the full picture of the sitution as your self.

For you to undestand its the MMR that projects towards autism

but it was the mercury that made the behavior worst .

Dawn,

I was at one of Kirby's talks recently. At no point did he say or act

as if mercury is the only factor-- quite the contrary. He gave weight

to multiple toxic theories.

Dawn,I have been reading Kirby's pieces for a long time and speaking with him as well. He has always acknowledged the heterogeneity of autism etiology, even while emphasizing mercury as a major factor. But, as you say, we all indeed do know that there are other environmental toxins, xenobiotics, pharmaceuticals, infectious agents and yes, genes, that contribute to the etiology of autism.  I think Kirby has been balanced in presenting this heterogeneity in his presentations - and I have observed at least six of his presentations.We also know vaccines and other toxins cause a variety of injuries and symptoms, sometimes lumped together in the "diagnostic wastebasket" of "autism" as Leo Kanner himself wrote in a preface to Dr. Rimland's book, Infantile Autism.In addition, I know of no astute political advocate in the autism arena who ever thought or suggested that it is only mercury that requires attention. But if the research establishment and media go out of their way to ignore mercury as a causal agent, and dismiss the importance of research in this area, it is appropriate to emphasize mercury in advocacy.  Sure, some will simplify the issue, but that is not a dominant voice in the political advocacy I have observed.RJKThere is still mercury in many of the mercury-free vaccines....What are the political ASSHOLES trying to do? Your post is bullshit, and it's obvious that you have not followed Kirby close enough to know better. The man has put his life on hold to cover this story for you and your family. When other journalists would have long moved on, Kirby has had the balls and perseverance to stay the course to bring this topic to the mainstream. Those of us with high stakes in this story are sick of autism, so I can imagine that has had more than enough. Thank you Kirby, go take a long deserved break from this shit-storm.

Some days I read two or three posts and think I can't be here the

rest of the day....uh. I'll put the computer to sleep and go address

the needs of my 30 year old 6ft 5in 250 pound son with autism. This

nasty infighting leaves me hurting and depressed. It helps no one, it

is so unkind. Please take a breath....step back....try some grace and
