OT: reusing water bottles????

Can anyone tell me if the myth of reusing water bottles is true. I re-use my

clean bottles and sometimes freeze the water. Is this safe? I read where there

are toxins in the plastic. Please respond ASAP. Thanks Louisiana Girl
