Guest guest
" Liberation of a wheelchair " ! I love it. Thanks for posting that. My feet are very soft -- I haven't been able to go barefoot for many years. Tho I must have as a kid.... My feet can be ice cold most of the time. When I sleep, I always have my feet out from under the covers. Since I've lived in Newfoundland, Canada, I find everyone takes their shoes off when entering anyone's home. I find it very inconvenient. Then, of course, I need to sit down to take off my shoes. And have a shoehorn in my pocketbook.... (I'm probably making too much of this.) If the home owner knows I wear braces, sometimes they say don't bother to take my shoes off. In NJ, no one I knew took their shoes off in anyone else's home. People here don't even tie their sneakers. Just slip them on and off. Are many of you in this situation?
