Guest guest
Have you even called Social Security yet for the forms for the doctor(s) to fill out? Have you had the forms filled out (don't forget to make/get a copy of the doctor's completed one for yourself) and mailed in yet? Have you been denied yet? Many people are denied benefits the first two or three times they apply. Of course there's a fee. And though it doesn't come out of your pocket up front, it WILL come out of the benefits. IF he were to be awarded $600 a month, probably 1/3 of that will go to those attorneys until their bill is paid. AND, if you don't do what YOU can, know that that $6000 " cap " will not apply--you will have to pay them to do the work YOU should have been doing. --getting the forms, getting your doctor to fill them out, mailing them, and re-applying, 2-3 times. Do what you can do. Better yet, have the boy do what HE can do. Ella > > I just called this group and there is a fee associated with it. there is no unless they collect.
