Hi Everyone,

I have MCS and many more allergies. We need to replace some of our windows in

our house especially the one in our bedroom that many times will not open or

shut! It is getting cold and we have been looking everywhere to find a source to

purchase aluminum double hung windows with no low-e (because no low-e bothers me

too due to SAD and other conditions- I am quite sick) We live in an agricultural

area so we do not have many choices. We are in Eastern WA.-mild winters. When we

have called we have not gotten much help. So now we have to look into the bigger

cities that are further away from us but we do not know who makes windows that

are more for MCS people. So far it seems that the aluminum would be the best.

The wood ones would have to be treated or painted and I am afraid that might

cause problems too. Five years ago when we moved into this house we put in vinyl

and I ended staying in a camper for a few years!! This time we are looking

harder. We need double hung in our bedroom because of health problems that make

it impossible for me to handle direct air on me from the window. The double hung

ones are also healthier for you since you get a better air circulation. Does

anyone out there know of a source I could go to? A book on healthy houses you

could guide me to? a internet source? a person? Thanks.
