If I remember correctly, there was some debate over how much water is

too much. Well, I inadvertently played the guinny pig for the last

four weeks. In my quest for weight loss, I was doing my best to

drink 12 cups of water per day, as was reccommended by all my health

care providers. I thought the little foam cups at work were 8 oz.

cups. Silly me, I just realized they are 12 oz. cups. Almost every

work day for the past 4 weeks, I've been drinking 144 oz. of water

per day (instead of the 96 oz. I thought I was drinking). I'm fine.

No harmful side effects, aside from very frequent trips to the little

girls room. It seems to be helping in the weight loss quest, so I

think I'll continue until the contest is over.

Here are some of the good things from it: My eczema has improved

greatly. My hair is shinier. My usual dry mouth, eyes, sinuses,

etc, are not quite so dry. Fewer nose-bleeds (which I get quite

often). I'm not nearly as hungry - just today on the radio they were

saying how many americans have conditioned themselves so they think

thirst is actually hunger; this causes overeating and chronic

dehydration. So far, no noticible effect on the fibro; hopefully the

eventual weightloss will help there.

Cheers all,

Cheryl
