Guest guest
How horrible for any person, let alone a young person to go through all of this. My mother-in-law contracted Gillian-Barre syndrome from a flu shot many years ago at the age of 70 and was totally paralyzed for over a year. She miraculously through sheer will power eventually recovered to the point where she could walk and do basic chores again. But the toll it has taken on her was and is enormous. No one in the family would ever get a flu vaccine, or if we could help it, any vaccine, after the horrors we saw Mom go through.
