Guest guest
Does anyone know if there are any studies being done on stachybotrys atra (chartarum) or aspergillus fumigatis exposure that need research subjects? If so, I'd like to apply. I was exposed to both of these destructive agents from 1987 until 1998 in a university office for approximately eight hours per day. Air quality studies done in 1997 found millions (not just hundreds or thousands) of cfu's of both stachy and aspergillus as well as other bacteria and toxins solely in my office, which was on a north wall that didn't get much sunlight. The energy-efficient building was dedicated in 1987, but the roof flanges had been installed incorrectly and rain constantly seeped behind the bricks, causing mold. The wallpaper was a type of fabric, rather than paper, that fed the mold quite well. The building was air-tight and the air conditioning system was shut down on weekends to save energy. I have all the reports (my office and building numbers are incorrectly listed in these reports - I believe on purpose). I originally visited Dr. Eckerdt Johanning through worker's comp and have his reports as well, which substantiate several health problems, along with his laboratory findings that my T-cell count is too low. I'm not suing anyone, just need some good quality health care. My GP and cardiologist don't want to talk about environmental medicine. The few environmental doctors I have found locally do not accept Medicare and Tricare insurance, so I would have to pay out of my own pocket, and I simply can't afford to do that as a retired person. Besides, they seem to be more in the business of " expert witnessing " than " doctoring. " So I'm wondering if being a subject in some research study would be possible. I have numerous symptoms and health problems which I deal with by prayer and Christian believing. Thanks, Mello
