2008 SYMPOSIUM VIDEOS

AVAILABLE ONLINE

Part of our mission of awareness is to make the

latest scientific and medical information available for those who suffer

from a mitochondrial disease, their loved ones or those who are the parents

of an affected child. That is why we want to make many of the video

taped scientific sessions from the symposium in Indianapolis available on

the UMDF website for members and nonmembers. As you know, it is the

UMDF’s annual symposium that brings world renowned medical experts and

patients and families face to face. Here is a list of titles currently

These audio and video sessions are the latest

educational tools provided by the UMDF. Remember, UMDF and world

renowned experts in mitochondrial disease have produced the MITO101

CD. The CD covers topics such as patient many topics including

management, treatment, exercise, nutrition. MITOFirst is also

available for physicians and patients. MITOFirst is a booklet for

newly diagnosed patients, their families and their physicians.
