Guest guest
Hello, First of all I must say I'm very new to all these. It was just a couple of days ago when I accidentally ran into a research done in the area where our adoptive daughter is coming from. Most children tested there were found infected with both Aflotoxin and Ochratoxin. When I started looking for symptoms, I panicked. I could almost recognize our daughter in their description! So, please forgive my naïve questions and bare with me. She lived for 4 years in Sierra Leone, so she might have been exposed to the mycotoxins for all this time, apart from the possibility of mother milk infection too. She had lived with us, away from Africa for 2 years. Is it possible that her body has cleansed itself by now? Would a test still reveal anything? What kind of tests can we do? Is it likely that her anxiety and hyperactivity could be caused by such an infection? She has been dx with ADHD but I still hesitate to have her on medication yet. She is also speech delayed, has sensory integration problems …. Same question. Can it be a possible infection with mycotoxins causing all these? Better go and try to read some more before i ask anymore silly things Thanks for your patience, a
