If it still smells = where there is one chipmunk, there are a litter. My

grandmother has the same issue with mice.

Somehow you need to block off their entry points. They are very resourceful, but

if they refuse to pay rent = evict them..lol

But seriously, we had to rip out the wall, take out the dead mice, disinfect &

get a cat that likes mice. Better the cat killing them than them dying in a

wall.
