Guest guest
it is pretty cool, I love dogs, some are just pretty dang smart. I think/hope that if smelling/finding those molds started makeing them sick they they would try telling the owner by refuseing to do it. I dont care for the idea that food is the reward. I hope he meant treats instead. by: polyanna > > This is superb! http://www.msnbc.msn.com/ has a great video of a > mold-sniffing dog on their front page. Check it out. Guest guest
, Information about the company which trains and certifies mold dogs is at: http://www.mold-dog.com/dog_school.htm They are trained to detect VOCs from mold so VOCs from other sources - and there are many - can confuse. However, I'm amazed at the ability of well trained dogs to tell the difference. As with all other tools, there are strengths and weaknesses and the results should be interpreted within the context of building type, history, water event, occupant sensitivity, and in this case the professionalism of the dog owner.
