Guest guest
Listmembers, I am sure I am going to upset some of the experts on this group, so I am apologizing beforehand . For those of us who have lost their homes, our belongings, our financial security and unfortunately are chronically ill, have sick children, have had to give up a profession they love and are pretty much restricted in their abilities due to MCS, cognitive challenges and fatigue due to our poisoning. We honestly do not give a crap about whether mold is slimy, dry, sticky etc etc and we do not care how this essential oil is diffused or processed or the complex formulas of dispersion and it's effects. I do not know if any of our experts have had to live this nightmare, if any of them have lost their homes or nearly their lives, I think it would give you a whole new perspective if you have, there is no better way of understanding this issue like living it . Honestly why is it that every-one goes by the books and not what the real people have experienced. I really don't care whether mold is green, yellow, pink or black, if you mold in your home-you need to get rid of it. And as for remediation, it is not for a remediator to dictate when a building is safe or not, that is for the individual person who has to live in the home and their level of sensitivity. The rhetoric between and others really has no meaning for people who are suffering, the essential oils don't get rid of mycotoxins, so why even have the discussion? Does anyone have any real answers ? Is there a way you can make our homes safe again?. I probably sound bitter, I'm not as we were sucessful in our lawsuit and have some way of recouping our losses, however normally the information on this site is excellent ,for the past week or so, it has been a lot of talk about things that have no direct use for the average person suffering from their exposure. It seems to be the experts critiquing each other on their methods and discussing can Stachy be white?? or why it is slimy really ?? what about some practical ideas for those of us who would like to keep whatever belongings they might have or if someone doesn't have the financial ability to hire a remediator-who can cost thousands-what can be done to help those who can't afford to leave their home, what can be done to avoid spreading it,can the affected area be sealed off? vents closed? How about information on furniture that can or might be salvaged-it would be great for the experts on this site to put together a compendium to help those afflicted rather than discuss matters that are frankly over the average sufferers head and have no practical application. How can I save all my photographs and pictures that are stored? the rocking chair that I gave to my daughter for her second birthday. These might not seem important to the experts, but to someone who has lost everything-it is much more vital than discussing what color a mold is or whether it is slimy or sticky??
