Guest guest
Angel, It is a concerning subject. People are leery of the advice of Big Government when Big Money for Big Pharma is involved. Vaccines have come under scrutiny in recent years from the claim that too many, too soon have caused a toxicity in small children that mimics autism. I am of the opinion there is validity to this claim. There is no doubt that credible reports of death from H1N1 have been evidenced around the world. We have had a few here in San Diego. The worst that I know of is a healthy 5 year old child who the virus impacted her heart and she died within a matter of days of becoming sick. " The County of San Diego recently released information pertaining to swine flu. H1N1 influenza was detected in San Diego County this past spring. It has persisted in our region and continues to be widespread throughout the county, according to officials. The number of hospitalizations and deaths due to H1N1 influenza increased steadily through the summer. To date [by the first of October], there have been 284 H1N1 hospitalizations and 22 H1N1-related deaths. The number of H1N1-related deaths now equals the highest number of seasonal flu deaths ever reported in the county. " The percentage of those who acquire the virus and who become severely ill or die from acquiring it is small. I know several people who have had it. Their symptoms range from no big deal to feeling the sickest they have ever felt. I don't personally know anyone hospitalized for it. But the wider it spreads, the greater number of deaths. 22 deaths in San Diego county alone by early Oct is nothing to sneeze at. Looks like if one is sick enough to be hospitalized with it, they have about a 10% chance of dying. So, I don't think they are advising everyone get this vaccine because they anticipate epidemic numbers of deaths without it. But rather they are advising the vaccine to prevent deaths in a proportionate number that could easily be prevented. I make no judgment either way of to vaccinate or not to vaccinate. I, myself, am conflicted in thought on the matter and probably will not vaccinate because my immune system is goofy ever since the exposure to mold in our house. Still, I am concerned about my social responsibility from this choice. Given the uncertainties and conflicted information over this serious issue, I think it would be wise and socially responsible that if people choose not to vaccinate, they take extra " social " hygiene precautions this flu season on behalf of their fellowman. Things such as washing hands frequently - no kissing greetings, - and avoiding places where there are large gatherings of people. It is one thing to choose not to vaccinate as a decision regarding your own health. It is another thing when your decision potentially adversely impacts the health and lives of others. People need to weigh the legitimate concern of distrust of government health policy when profit for big Pharma is involved against the legitimate concerns of the implication of their decision that not only impacts their own health, but society as a whole. Not an easy coin to toss on this one. A lot of shades of gray. But, I don't think the governments are just blowing completely frivolous smoke to sell drugs over this one. I think there is some legitimacy to their concerns. Whether their approach is overkill or not, I don't know. I know that in Germany, they are advising those with environmental illnesses not receive the vaccine: _German Medical Association warns: “Swine flu vaccine†unsuitable for patients suffering from environmental diseases and other._ (http://katysexposure.wordpress.com/2009/11/04/german-medical-association-warns-\ swine-flu-vaccin e-unsuitable-for-patients-suffering-from-environmental-diseases-and-other-ch ronic-multi-system-illnesses/) Press release of the German Professional Association of Environmental Medicine (Deutscher Berufsverband der Umweltmediziner – DBU) October 26, 2009 Swine flu vaccine is unsuitable for patients with environmental diseases and other chronic multi-system illnesses. Pandemrix® poses substantial health risk with respect to mass immunization programs due to the lack of proof of safety. Because of the producer’s release from liability by the German Federal Government (BRD), the risk of adverse reactions and/or permanent damage due to the vaccine rests with the patient. The German Professional Association of Environmental Medicine (DBU) has, in spite of press releases from the BRD, the -Ehrlich-Institute, as well as the vaccine producer’s assurances of safety, serious concerns relating to Pandemrix® (GlaxoKline), the only vaccine which has been approved for mass vaccination by the BRD. The DBU discusses at this point neither the medical use of immunization in general nor the necessity of such measures in the, up until now, mild course of the swine flu pandemic. Our criticism is directed only against the pandemic vaccine Pandemrix®. There exists considerable doubt as to the effectiveness of the vaccine: during the licensing phase, the vaccine tested had a 40% higher portion of virus antigen (5. 25µg) than the vaccine (3.75µg) now being delivered. An unequivocal consensus has not been reached as to whether the vaccination should be given once or twice a season !!! There exists considerable doubt concerning the safety of the adjuvanted active amplifier since it is being used for the first time. The vaccine contains 27.4mg AS03, an emulsion of polysorbate, squalene and tocopherol. Sufficient studies are lacking, because in the test phase, only the development of antibody titers was determined as a surrogate criterion, and not any potential adverse reactions. The producer as well as government agencies have concealed the fact that squalene, if used subcutaneously or intramuscularly is an inflammatory immune activation immunogen, unlike when ingested. (Squalene is, among other things, for example, naturally contained in olive oil.) Autoimmune diseases can be provoked by squalene; already existing ones can be activated. Squalene has been connected with the emergence of Guillan-Barré Syndrome (GBS) and is now considered a trigger for Gulf War Syndrome (GWS). In animal studies squalene brought on rheumatoid arthritis. Squalene from food sources is mainly incorporated into membranes in the body. The production of squaline antibodies resulting from an immunization sets off chronic inflammation of the membranes, which explains diseases such as Gulf War Syndrome and also degenerative neurological diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy and Guillan-Barré Syndrome. The delivery of vaccine in multiple dose ampules is obsolete. In single dose ampules the mercury used for preservation, as in thimerosal – which is included in Pandemrix – would be unnecessary. Also, mercury has been proven to set off autoimmune diseases. Since the vaccine has not been tested on either young children or pregnant women (Ethics Commission objection), the call to give preference in the first phase of vaccination to precisely this particularly endangered segment of the population represents an improper and totally unjustifiable field test. The vaccine poses a higher risk than the swine flu itself for patients with environmental illness and for patients with compromised immune systems (e.g. AIDS). The vaccine producer GlaxoKline (GSK), according to the contract with the BRD, is largely exempt from liability. In case of damage from the vaccination, the affected vaccinee would have to sue the government and therefore the country of Germany, usually a futile exercise. To avoid the trap of liability, the doctor giving the vaccination must meticulously inform the patient of all risks concerning the vaccination and the vaccine. It is recommended to give this information in the presence of an assistant and to have it be confirmed by the patient’s signature. The explanation should also include the liability features. Also the indication that other, lower risk vaccines are available in Europe and that due to a faulty decision by the German government, they are currently not available to the German population. This information should definitely be included in the explanation. For general and environmental health considerations the DBU urgently advises against carrying out a vaccination with Pandemrix® ! Guest guest
Sharon I know that you are smart enough to see who is benefiting this from this pandemic. Are you aware that they have stopped testing for H1N1 in most of the US? That the 'immeidate' test for the 'flu' is not completely accurate and so if people present at ER's with flu like symptoms they are automcially given Tamiflu. So the stats on the 'flu' are completely skewed for failure to differenciate between a 'flu' and the H1N1 'flu'. Germany at leat has warned their citizens with immune system issues not to take it. problem is here in the US they are still targeting their 'decided' demographics which have not been fully tested. Prime example they can NOT state with assurity that there is no harm to the developing fetus as the full 9 months for pregnancy has not been completed in their 'trials'. Soth America had their flu season and it was much milder than the so called pandemic that has been blasted all over the internet/news etc. Also, one question that is still not being addressed by anyone...why is the militray being given a DIFFERENT version of this flu vaccine? Why is the manufacturer of the vaccine on their official package insert stating that the nasal vaccine has viral shedding and the length of this viral shedding is unknown? Along with it has not been tested for carcinogenity or mutagenity. The offical package for medical professionsal is on line http://www.medimmune.com/pdf/products/flumist_pi.pdf the first page sections 13 & 14 warrant further reading.... page 3 section 13.1 page 4 right about section 15 Health professionals are ignoring warning by the manufacturer and so far the so called deaths from this pandemic have not been confirmed. But the number of deaths form 'A' flu are still below the average deaths annually. Case in point, think of Soc Security every chemcially injury, mold etc., claim is NORMALLY put under MENTAL. So that labels that claiant for life as a 'mental' case diswabled person. This is just like the flu, if someone with COPD dies from a 'pneumonia' type event then it's the H1N!, which in fact can be completely wrong. The stats are skewed, they are manipulating numbers to scare the population into getting this for fear of death from the flu. Re: [] Vegas PBS Vaccines Angel, It is a concerning subject.
